We are Sharks!!!!

Today was Nick's program at school. He was so cute singing his little heart out, looking up every few seconds to make sure my eyes were on him, they were of course. After all he is the cutest kid in the first grade. ;) Nick kept telling Jeff that he didn't want him to pull faces while he was doing his program, but since Jeff wasn't able to make it, I couldn't help myself from sticking my tongue out a few times at him, I could tell he was trying so hard not to bust up laughing. All the kids did a good job and they are so funny to watch. Most of them say their lines so fast that you look at the person next to you and both of you say "huh"? The set was decorated really cute, usually I expect the school plays to have cheesy decorations but these were really good. all and all it was a good little play. Good job Nicholas!

Do you know what this tape is for?

Matthew loves sleeping in his brothers room, whether it be on the floor or on the foot of their beds. The boys don't always like the idea. Last night I was in the computer room and Matty came in with a piece of tape and said to me, "do you know what this piece of tape is for?" holding up a piece of tape. I asked him what it was for, and he said "it's so I can be quiet in Taylor and Nick's room." I thought it was so cute that I got him his pillow and blanket and sent him to their room.

Time to take a breath!

Wow! What a crazy last couple of days it's been. On Friday Jeff and I celebrated our 1oth wedding anniversary. We went up to the Zermatt in Midway and spent the evening in Park City, it was so fun. It is hard to believe that we have been married for ten years, but then other times it seems like I've known him forever. I have the most amazing husband and best friend a girl could ask for and this definitely has been the best ten years so far.

Then today was the Easter party. I absolutely love having parties at my house, I think it builds great memories for the kids, and its a fun getting together with all the family and friends ( even if you have to deal with the crazy ones for a few hours). It turned out great. The kids loved the Easter egg hunt and little Chase was so fun to watch, he actually understood what he was supposed to do this year. Thanks to everyone who came and helped, you are all wonderful.

I am going to do it!

I am going to do it! That's what I told myself today, and by "it" I meant start a blog.
I really enjoy reading others blogs and I feel like it's a great way to connect with each other even when life seems so crazy. I can't believe that it has actually taken me so long to get on board with the rest of the blogging world, but here I go. I can't wait to share all the fun we have at my house with all of you.
